Denture Delight: Achieving Patient Approval and Delivering Successful Complete Dentures, a two-hour continuing education course, will be presented at this meeting by Leif Stromberg, DDS. This meeting is presented both in-person and virtually...REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
Radiograph Exposure Skills Course

In this Radiographic Exposures Skills workshop, dental professionals will learn to assemble and position various film holding devices to obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs, including mastering techniques such as paralleling, bisecting-the-angle, and proper patient positioning for panoramic radiographs.

In this Provisional Fabrication Skills workshop, dental professionals will learn to fabricate and cement crowns and bridges. Topics include preliminary impressions, shade selection, cement choice, resin loading, acrylic crown fabrication, trimming, polishing, maintaining margins, cement cleaning, and post-op instructions. Practical skills for patient care are emphasized.

Need to meet your bi-annual TSBDE requirement for Basic Life Support/CPR for your license renewal? This BLS (CPR and AED) Program, with the curriculum of the American Heart Association, meets that requirement and is taught by the Program Director of the DCDS Dental Assisting School.

Save the date! The Dental Tree Program encourages dentists and their teams to unite during the early days of November each year to serve our community in our own practices or at DISD Title I schools, senior community centers or non-profit dental organizations in need of volunteers.
Basic Orthodontic Skills Course

In this Basic Orthodontics Skills workshop, dental professionals will acquire essential techniques such as untying, changing, and retying wires using o-rings and elastic chains, positioning patients, and maintaining a clean work area, as well as providing home care instructions for patients.

Metallosis and Peri-implantitis, a two-hour continuing education course, will be presented at this meeting by Dr. Thomas Wilson. The meeting will include TDA President Dr. Georgeanne McCandless providing a brief update regarding activities at TDA.

DCDS is now offering a BLS (CPR and AED) Program, with the curriculum of the American Heart Association, to meet your TSBDE licensing requirement through the DCDS Dental Assisting School. You and your staff can schedule a date and time to earn this continuing education credit.
