Preparing for the Non-Financial Side of Retirement

Rumor has it that individuals spend more time planning a two-week vacation than they do planning for the non-financial side of retirement. That’s not unusual. It’s not something we were brought up thinking about.

This one-hour interactive presentation will focus on the importance of preparing for and planning for the non-financial aspects of retirement before and during retirement. Not being aware and planning for this side of retirement is common and can result in what retirees thought would be the best time of their life can become a time of restlessness, anxiety, lack of fulfillment and other challenges. These non-financial factors will be introduced and discussed, and participants will walk away with what they can start, stop, or continue doing to experience joy and contentment and maximize their potential in this well-deserved time of their life!

The “Preparing for the Non-Financial Side of Retirement” workshop is interactive as each participant defines, explores, and gains new insights and ideas around preparing for life after retiring! Sue Mintz, a certified retirement transition coach leads the workshop.
