Dallas County Dental Society members strive to provide the best possible oral health care services. However, sometimes services don’t go as expected. In those instances, Dallas County Dental Society offers a free and strictly confidential mediation/peer review service to help resolve issues without the expense of a court case.

The first step is for the patient to contact our office at 972-386-5741 and our Peer Review Manager will guide you through the initial steps.

Working with Texas Dental Association (TDA), Dallas County Dental Society assigns your case to members of the DCDS Peer Review Committee for their review. Committee members are dentists volunteering their mediation and peer review services. They may ask to interview or examine the patient and talk with the dentist who provided treatment.

The entire process is free and strictly confidential. Dentists choose whether or not to participate. In most cases, Dallas County Dental Society is able to resolve complaints to both parties’ satisfaction.
